Publish Your Poetry
Self Publishing
For as long as books have been written, authors have used
"self-publishing" as a vehicle to realize their dreams.
Literally hundreds of famous authors, such as John Grisham
and Edgar Allen Poe, got their start self-publishing.
Self-publishing means that you retain the rights and control
over your book. You decide how the manuscript is edited
(either by you or someone else), who does the layout and
cover design, how it is distributed, and how it is marketed
and promoted.
Semaj Publications takes the hassles out of self-publishing
by taking care of all of the time-consuming, expensive steps
that self-published authors previously had to perform to
see their book in print.
ISBN, LCCN, and Other Registrations
Your book will be assigned its own ISBN (International Standard
Book Number), and will be listed in R.R. Bowker's Books
in Print. We will also place your book in the Library
of Congress and obtain an LCCN (Library of Congress Control
Number) for your book. You also have the option of having
Semaj Publications of Denver arrange copyright registration
through the U.S. Copyright Office of the Library of Congress
on your behalf.
Rights
Each author grants Semaj Publications of Denver the nonexclusive
worldwide right to publish his or her poetry in book form.
